Welcome to Dandyland Pet Care Center! We are a family-owned business that has been operated by sisters, Ginny, and Margie Kates, since 2007. Dandyland’s name was inspired by our wonderful Dalmatian, Dandy, whom we loved very much. We’re natives of Calvert County and are thrilled to be here on the Eastern Shore to provide a clean, safe place for your family’s pet care needs. We have a lot of love for our four-legged friends and want you to know that your pets will always be loved and cared for while staying with us. We know you don’t want to leave your pets with just anyone. So, bring them to the place where they’ll feel at home!

Love & Care - From Our Family to Yours

Ginny Kates lives on site and our center is monitored 24/7 by ADT security, so you never have to worry about your pet being left alone. We also have an open-door policy. Stop by during our business hours to check out our facility and we’ll answer any questions you may have. We offer a variety of pet care services for dogs and cats, including boarding, doggie daycare, and grooming. You may also take advantage of our “Do It Yourself” dog wash, by appointment. Although most of our guests are canines and felines, we don’t discriminate! Other small pets are welcome, with owner-provided housing.
