Boarding

When your pet comes to stay at Dandyland, they become a part of our family. There are several options for overnight boarding. We offer full-height indoor-outdoor runs or kennels for dogs. Cats will enjoy their own private room, outfitted with kitty condos. We also board ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters and other small animals, with owner-provided housing. Each of our boarding dogs receives two free individual business walks and playtimes outside every day. Business walks are five to ten minutes outside to allow them to do their business and play a little. We look forward to taking good care of your beloved pet. Our Policies

We want your pet to have a great time with us, so we will do whatever we can to make their stay as comfortable and fun as possible. Our boarding policies include:

You may bring your pet’s favorite blanket, bedding, and/or toys for their stay provided they are labeled and expendable. We can provide all these amenities for your pet as well.
We are glad to give your pet our food or yours from home at no extra cost. If you choose to bring your pet’s food and treats, please bring them in a sealable, plastic container.
We will administer any necessary medications. Please make sure they are properly labeled. We do up to 3 meal times, treats at owner’s request, and affection throughout their stay.
You don’t have to worry about your pet being left alone. Ginny Kates, owner/operator, lives on site, and the center is monitored 24/7 by ADT Security.
We have an open-door policy, so feel free to come by during regular business hours and see our center for yourself!

Pricing & Check-In/Out

Our boarding pricing depends on the type of pet and their size. Our Check-in and Check-out hours are also listed below.

Dogs over 40lbs - $43.00 per day
Dogs up to 40lbs - $39.00 per day
Cats/other - $19.00 per day
$28.00 per day each additional dog
$15.00 per day each additional cat or small animal (ferret, bunny, etc.)
3 or more dogs, we will take 10% off the boarding total

Check-in & Check-out Hours 8am-6pm

Pets dropped off after 12pm will be charged 1/2 price for the first day of boarding. Pets picked up before 12pm will be charged 1/2 price for the final day of their stay.

Pampered Dog Extras & Packages

We offer a variety of add-on services and discount packages to give your pet the extra time and affection that they need.

Nature Walk - $8.00
Walk in the woods and around the property on a leash. 15-20 minutes

Individual Playtime - $5.00
One on one playtime with a staff member.

Group Playtime - $5.00
Playtime with the Dandyland Pack. Daycare dogs and center owners’ personal dogs make up this playful group. This is reserved for dogs that are used to other dogs, by going to the dog park, being around family dogs, or doggies in the neighborhood, etc.

Doggie Daycare - $5.00
This extra is only for regular daycare dogs. The dogs will be taken out after breakfast to spend the day with their friends and return to their boarding space for dinner.

Goodnight Walk - $3.00
Just before we close the building up at night, the dogs will be taken outside for a final opportunity to do their business and exert some energy before bed.

Tuck in Service - $3.00
This extra includes cuddle time, an extra treat, and a short story before bed.

Busy Bone - $2.00

Medications - $1.50-$5.00 per administration

Required Vaccinations

Whether you are boarding, dropping off for doggie daycare, or bringing your pet in for grooming, we do require your pet to be current on all vaccinations. It is recommended that all vaccines be current at least 10 days before boarding.

Dogs: Rabies vaccine (with copy of vaccination record), Bordetella, and Distemper (DHLLP).
Cats: Rabies vaccine (with copy of vaccination record) and Distemper (FVRCP). Leukemia vaccine is highly recommended for outdoor cats.
All pets must be free of fleas, ticks, and parasites upon arrival. We reserve the right to treat the pet for fleas and ticks at the owner’s expense if we deem it necessary.
